Yasmin, Ray here, glad you liked Anais, the track I was hoping to find is Before the Eyes of the Story Telling Girls, that is soooooooooooo.

Just picking up from the fact that you like her have you heard anything by Joanna Newsom, she is the freshest sound I've ever heard, an excellent track for first listening would be Clam, Crab, Cockle, Cowrie, it is on this site, I put it on.

Also you might like Natalie Merchant, I've put a fair few of her's on.

Enjoy your listening.

Ray.

Also, forgot to ask you, have you listened to Laurie Anderson, she's another one that I'm sure if people heard her they would be wondering why they don't hear her on the radio,......................say no more, I think people are beginning to understand if you're not on xfactor or similar type of crap.......you won't get airplay.........it's censorship, sanitisation of the air waves, it's.....................and more!

hello Yasmin...............so good to see you have left comments about some of the tracks I've put onto 'the brick', I have put a copy of Stranger Song on here, it's from possibly the 60's, the Julie Felix show, he sings the track superbly and at the end a tear rolls down his cheek, how about that for emotion.

He is so wonderful for his lyrics, not many judge him as a singer of love songs, but I think they are the most wonderful around........have you ever heard Famous Blue Raincoat, there's a chance I have put it on here as it is one of my favourite Cohen tracks..............wish I had his eyes.........there again if I did he'd be forever bumping into the microphone, and possibly disappearing off the edge of the stage, not 'so cool', so I'll leave him as he is.........

I have put a good copy of Who by Fire on here, the best version I've heard, it features other artists and a sax..............how about giving some of his stuff lots of votes 'if you think he's worth it', that way others'll get a taste of a MASTER.

Nice to chat.................Ray............in Batley.
