Decent days and nights. Something happened to me whilst listening to this song. I can't quite work out what and it facinates me. First of all I'm a Jam freak, it's all about the driving beat for me in any song. The Futureheads Decent days and nights holds all that is dear to me. It punches a hole right through all the wishy washy indie of that particular time and makes things so simple. I hadn't bought the album by then i was simply into this one song that i saw advertised. By then the band were still doing small shows, i went to see them and interview them at The garage London, they gave away tapes of Decent days and nights with Robot on the other side. The magic of driving in my girlfriends car in the summer playing that tape over and over has never seemed to have left me. When i'm lucky enough to do a spot of DJ'ing i take great joy in absorbing into that song. That tight high hat the bite of the guitar. Barry's stiring ramblings punch punch punch and swing. Glorius song!
