Occasionally, something happens in you life that confounds every preconception of what you’re trying to achieve - Whether it’s a eureka moment that spurs you into action, a passing comment that inspires you to succeed or a stirring image that ignites something deep inside, these events can ultimately help mold who we are – Thankfully in my case, a person came into my life that broke all the rules, someone who was so open, honest, kind, giving and trusting, she peeled back the layers that had protected me for years and gave me the clear view and the courage to be the person I am today… Not perfect, not clever – just me. And then, when things could not conceivably get any better, the most precious gift of all came into our lives; our daughter, Isabelle.One of those emails that occasionally arrives in your email account - we’ve all had them - the email that’s been forwarded on a thousand times with a thousand email addresses attached to it, that you’re forever dumping straight into the trash once you’ve read the first five words. This one started; True happiness is when you… Sing like no one's listening, love like you've never been hurt, dance like nobody's watching, and live like its heaven on earth (Mark Twain). And I thought to myself, I do most of those things with Viv and Isabelle at some point nearly everyday. I know one day Viv will be my wife, I know one day I will look into her eyes, with my daughter by my side and say ‘I do’ and I will feel without question the same emotion I felt the day Isabelle was born… Utter Bliss!!!
