If it's the one I think you're referring to he was/is I belive American and that track was a decent hit for him, from the 80's or maybe late 70's, I did have it on tape, but it wasn't that important to me ..........or I would still have a copy.
I've tried googling him, but can't seem to bring him up anywhere, I've even looked on ebay, Amazon and HMV, perhaps it's all a figment of my imagination, as opposed to my swearing or using 'colourful language, that's just a pigment of my imagination, for you, read 'colorful language'.
I can agree wholeheartedly with your choice of worst record, I had to plump for anything by queen, I just cannot abhor them, I was actually going to go for Birdie Song myself, I've seen it suggested by other posters, perhaps they should offer a separate category for the worst song.
I'd then have to be more specific, though I guess I'd have gone for Angel by Robbie Williams, can't stand him either, they should let us have a top 10 for the worst cause I've just realised I could have stuck a pin for any spice girls record, and found any of my least liked, the bloody list is getting endless, at this rate I'll soon want my own top 30.
Hope you track down the Centrefold, if it's the one I have advised.
