About Me...
I have played music ,since I was 10 years old .I started out playing Alto Sax ,and drums in the school orchestra ,but soon switched to my main passion -guitar .The action was so high on my first acoustic ,it would have made a slide player cry !
I still play acoustic ,but really like electric guitar a bit better . I do play bass guitar also ,and am looking to acquire a lap steel again soon .
I have played in many bands ,jammed with many people ,but I really play because I love to ,and when you can do something you love ,you have it all.
Music Tastes...
I really love the Delta and Chicago blues a lot . I am also a big fan of Classic Rock ,and most any type of assorted styles ,except I am not a big Rap fan .
Buddy Guy rules in my book ,but I can still get into Reggae ,and Bob Marley ,and Jimmy Cliff .
Some country is really hot too -guys like Brad Paisley are exceptional.
I guess I really cover all the bases including some Pop ,Motown ,even some of the old Big Bands with people like Glenn Miller ,and Artie Shaw .
As far as jazz goes give me John Coltrane ,and Odetta .
