Music Tastes...

Metal and Rock mainly but on occasion the odd dance tune and a bit of classical every now and then. Im into bands like IRON MAIDEN, QUEEN, PANTERA, MEGADETH, METALLICA, W.A.S.P, SKID ROW, GENESIS, RUSH, DEEP PURPLE, WHITESNAKE, GUNS N ROSES, FREE, BAD COMPANY, LYNRD SKYNRD, THE CULT, AC/DC, LINKIN PARK, MARILYN MANSON, you get my drift by now....

First ever record/cd you remember listening to...

Dunno, i think it would have been some kind of 70's Glam like T-rex, Nazareth or Sweet, something like that. My Mum says i knew all the BAY CITY ROLLERS songs by the age of 5, sad, i know, Mum used to also play a lot of MOTOWN on a sunday while she cleaned so i guess theres some JACKSON 5 and STEVIE WONDER to be added to that, god bless Jimmy Saville on a sunday afternoon eh?!

First ever record/cd you remember buying...

I had a vast array of records as a young boy, all of wich were given to me by Aunties and Uncles and my Dad but i distinctively remember going into a shop and bying PHIL COLLINS and PHILLIP BAILEY "EASY LOVER" with some money i had been given from my Great Nanna!

Best live performance you’ve seen...

Ive seen IRON MAIDEN 3 times and each time they were amazing but the biggest rush ive ever had from a live performance was MARILYN MANSON on his 2000 tour in manchester!

Favourite radio stations...

I dont really listen to the radio but on occassion i catch the BRUCE DICKINSON ROCK SHOW, i think its on radio 6? Ive just started to listen to planetrock and snakenet on the pc, theyre both really cool.

Favourite music magazines and papers...

I used to love KERRANNG in the 80's and never missed a copy for years, but now its crap! i JUST TEND TO BUY TATTOO MAGS NOW INSTEAD...

Worst song ever...

Wow, there are so many!!!!!!!!! Im a huge Queen fan so if the worst song ever is a song that really let a band down it would be BODY LANGUAGE by QUEEN, its shit! Failing that anything by Westlife or Robbie Williams!

Totally agree with you re Sound of White Noise mate! Its an absolute barnstormer, if I put it on, its on from beginning to end. John Bush was by far their best vocalist...I spose I am biased as I only saw them with him doing vox, will see if the new guy is any good

Looks like we share some of the same musical tastes. I think you'd like my station over at Pure Rock Radio. All the bands you mentioned and a ton more. Not to mention some cool obscure favs from the hair metal era and new stuff all the time. Our station allows the listeners to become programmers with our auto-request section. You can pick from any track in our playlist (currently over 40000) and it gets added immediately to the play queue and airs in the order it comes in, during all Regular Rotation & Requests slots (majority of the day and night, only a few hours here and there with live/syndicated shows, where requests are not active).
